"Gladewater Church To Observe 16th Anniversary, Sunday
Notice has been received here that the First Christian Church of Gladewater is observing its sixteenth anniversary on Oct. 5 by conducting dedication services for the new church building.
The program for Dedication Day is as follows: 9:43 a.m., church school; 11:00 a.m., morning worship, Rev. Jack Suggs, former minister of the church and professor of Old Testament at Texas Christian University, guest speaker; 3:00 p.m., dedication service, D. M. E. Sadler, president of Texas Christian University, will bring the Dedication address; 4.00 to 6:00 p.m. open house with the Berean class as hostesses.
A cordial invitation is extended to all who will Join with this splendid congregation in their joy aa they dedicate this beautiful new house of worship to glory of God and the advancement of His Kingdom.
Rev. William J. Hall is the beloved minister who has led the congregation in this building program."
