The T124 E2 antitank gun is based on a tank main gun. The guns were fitted onto light-weight carriages. Production began in late 1950 when the US army discovered their current ATG's were ineffective against North Korean T-34's at the start of the Korean War. Apparently only 100 were made before production stopped. Development of the various recoilless rifles eliminated the need for a crew served, towed ATG. I found no marking on the breech of this piece.
