"Traditional village ironstone pub built during the 1600's with a thatched roof. It was totally rebuilt following a fire in the 1960's. As the name suggests, it was a Royalist pub during the Battle of Naseby and this is reflected in the decor/memorabilia found inside. Five beers are available in this cosy pub with two changing beers from Towcester Mill Brewery who now operate the pub and two from other breweries. Recently awarded Rural Pub of the Season Summer 2017."
