In 1911, an administration building on Podbielskistraße and a factory building on Lister Strasse were built around the older factory in List, Hanover. The buildings are among the best architectural achievements of Art Nouveau in Hanover.
In the administration building there is next to the foyer the small and the large meeting room, which are decorated decoratively in the Art Nouveau style. Among them are a colored wall frieze by Georg Herting, a five-meter-high, colored window front by Adolf Hölzel and a picture frieze by Julius Diez entitled The Goddess TET on her throne.
The depictions of the Leibniz biscuit appear several times on the magnificently worked natural stone façade of Langensalza travertine. Today no baked goods are produced at the original company headquarters. The large building complex has been renovated and converted. In addition to the Bahlsen administration, there is the Podbi Park, a business district with offices, a hotel, municipal facilities (Bürgeramt, city library) and a shopping arcade.
