The Gray Lines offers sightseeing tours of New York City using hop-on, hop-off double-decker buses. They are a familiar sight on the streets of Manhattan and Brooklyn. The center of their operation is on 777 8th Avenue where they has a large visitors center. To attract tourists there is no better symbol of New York City than the Statue of Liberty. Therefore, they has placed a 10' high replica of the Statue of Liberty on the marquee above the entrance.
The statue is really a well done replica. It is complete with gilded torch and can be seen as you travel on 8th Avenue between w. 47th Street and W. 48th Streets.
