The red-brown-brick Town Clock stands near the Gilgandra Services Wall of commemorative plaques. While both the Newell Highway, and Castlereagh Highway 'run through' town, at this point the local street to the north is known as Miller Street, and the T-junction to the west is of Warren Road and Castlereagh Street.

By my calculation (from brick heights) this Town Clock stands 6.4 metres high, with two slightly 'thickened' bands of brickwork, before tapering slightly to an arched brick top. The clock faces are covered (glass, or plastic/perspex). The dial has two thin and narrow outer concentric rings for the minute ticks, with thickened ones for the 5 minute points. There a Roman numerals, with 4 being represented as 'IIII'. The black hour-hand has a classic bulbular end, with the longer black minute-hand being tapered, which also extends behind the pivot point. [There is a name within the face, which could be 'Williams', or not. There is a plaque on the northern edge of the lower part of the brickwork, but I was too far away - the other side of the highway, to get a photo of that.]
