This is a well-maintained cemetery south of Gilgandra, north of the Castlereagh Highway.

The Lawn Cemetery was established in 1976, and has some 500 graves [ex-Australian Cemetery Index website: (visit link) ] The Monumental Cemetery is next door, and is a little more than 100 years old.

From scanning the Gilgandra Shire Council Cemetery listing (PDF document) it seems that there is at least two Centenarians buried in the Lawn Cemetery. Being: Ina Marie Narelle Barden, aged 100 in 2009 (#142), and Harold Victor McEwen, aged 100 in 1995 (#125) [ex- (visit link) ]
