As part of Oklahoma City's "Close To Home" fishing program, this 33-acre lake is stocked with largemouth bass, crappie and three types of sunfish. There is ample parking and a large fishing dock on the west side of the lake, and other parking spots along the west side. An Oklahoma City Fishing Permit is required to fish the lake.
My favorite place to fish here is a little cove in the southwest corner of the lake. It's near the "Permit Required" sign shown in the gallery. There's room for half a dozen or so vehicles to park there.
There are also (at least at the time of this post) several geocaches around the lake, including one in the top of that big tree at my cove and another out in the middle of the lake that must be found and retrieved using boats and grappling hooks!
