In Randolph, in front of Stedman Hall, is a Civil War Monument with a time capsule buried within the area.
The capsule is buried in the ground, next to a statue and pillar of a Civil War soldier walking.
The capsule has a stone at the surface, with the following text engraved:
"TOWN OF RANDOLPH MASSACHUSETTS
As we re-dedicate these Civil War Monuments - we leave this time capsule in the hope that our history will always be worth remembering
