W. E. Shelton's headstone is a traditional Woodmen of the World tree stump marker. It stands on a base with the surname SHELTON, which is partially buried in the ground. The inscription is engraved on a scroll which hangs by a rope. An engraved granite dove is sitting at the top of the scroll. Above this are the crossed implements common to Woodmen of the World monuments.

Mr. Shelton passed away the same year Oklahoma became a State. The engraved inscription reads:
