On this tree stump headstone erected by the Woodmen of the World, the inscription to Joseph Dixon is engraved on a scroll, which is hanging by a rope. A dove is engraved in the granite, perched atop the scroll, with three pieces of olive branch in his beak. Above the dove are the crossed implements seen on many WOW markers.

The inscription reads:
