This piece combines silhouettes of the word "BROWNWOOD" arcing above a cattle head within a circle to mark the entryway for a town square in The Villages, Florida. The elements appear to be old and rusted metal though, in truth, the sign was installed in 2012. It is mounted in the center of and atop a wood post and beam gate that spans Meggison Road. The approximate dimensions are 12 feet wide and 6 feet tall.
Brownwood Paddock Square is one of three town squares in The Villages. The site is about a quarter mile south of the square and is the southernmost entrance to Brownwood.
