Beyond a few directory listings, the church has no significant Internet presence, although the United Methodist Church website (see below) at least has an "official" page but with very little information. Charleston itself has seen its better days, but with a population of about 120, it is one of the few communities in Delta County that haven't become rural settlements or ghost towns.

"Delta County", in Arcadia Publishing's Images of America series, has a photo of the church, pretty much looking like it does today, but with a couple of large trees that are no longer with us. The accompanying text indicates that this sanctuary was constructed in 1917 (also noted on the church's sign out front), and over time, it has been shared by other local congregations. While the grounds are well-maintained and the church is obviously still in use, there is no indication as to when they hold their services.

Year built or dedicated as indicated on the structure or plaque: 1917
