The coat of arms of Gran Canaria is half broken and cut: first, in a field of gules, a castle of gold, crenellated and donjonado of three towers, mazonado of sable and clarified of blue; second, in a field of silver, a lion rampante of gules, crowned, lampasado and armed with gold; and third, a palm of its color, camping in a rock moviente of the chief, of its color, and lying of two lebreles rampantes, confronted and movientes, of its color. Bordura of gules, with ten silver swords, put two by two, in the manner of blades. Bell: closed royal crown.
