Now longer a Town Hall, but now a library, this building is still the centre of this small town in rural Ontario. The clock keeps the pace.

There is no facing of the clock. It is see-through to the brick facade. There is a double ring used to mount the twelve roman numerals which are in black font. The hands are also black and are centred on the words "Townhall 1914".

Hensall Town Hall was built in 1914 for $7,000 to serve as the Village of Hensall’s government administration building. On the second floor is a opera house with a stage, ticket booth
and balcony overlooking the dance floor. The building is topped by a
cupola that used to house the town bell. Presently the first floor
houses the Hensall branch of the Huron County Library.
