Outdoor warning devices are commonplace in Oklahoma towns due to the preponderance of tornadoes. Paoli is no exception. Paoli stands in the middle of Tornado Alley. It is located in Garvin County on Highway 77, south of Oklahoma City. Several tornadoes roar through this area every year. Fortunately, none has caused significant damage in Paoli.

This siren is mounted on a wood pole on the east side of the Town Hall building on W. Davis Avenue. It is stationary unit with two banks of 8 horns each, facing 360 degrees.
