Paoli is a town in Garvin County, located on Highway 77, about seven miles north of Pauls Valley and 15 miles south of Purcell. The post office was established here on June 27, 1888. When the railroad came through and a depot was set up, the town was named for Paoli, Pennsylvania, a small town outside of Philadelphia where many of the railroad workers were from. The town grew quickly and was primarily agricultural, with cattle ranching, and later in 1916, oil and gas was discovered.
Town Hall is located in a one-story frame building with brick veneer, and a frame addition on the west side. The administrative offices are open Monday to Friday from 8:30-12:30; 1:00-5:00. Phone: 405-484-7844. Paoli does not have a town website, however, we have shown their Facebook page below. They have a Mayor/Council form of government. The Police Department is also housed here.
