According to the Blue Flag website (http://www.blueflag.global), in order to qualify for the Blue Flag, a series of stringent environmental, educational, safety, and accessibility criteria must be met and maintained.

The marina is located where the Bayfield River spills into Lake Huron. It is also a designated small craft harbour by Canada's Department of Fisheries and Oceans.

The marina has pump out service, 20, 30 and 50 amp electrical service, washrooms and showers. The marina is equipped with picnic tables, a public phone and a shuttle service. There is also a nearby public launch site.

The Bayfield River is home to 34 different fish species, including rainbow trout.

Canoe and Kayak rentals are available at the Marina Office.
