Whitebead Cemetery is located northwest of town. Go west of Kimberlin Road, just past Interstate 35 one-quarter mile, then north of County Road N3205 (at cemetery sign). The cemetery is a beautiful area, heavily treed, with gravel drives around the perimeter and bisecting in both directions.
Whitebead is a small rural community, established in the late 1800's. The brick walls flanking the entrance have a granite marker reading "WHITEBEAD CEMETERY 1800" however we feel this date is incorrect, as a second sign within the cemetery, reads "Circa 1870". The oldest apparent headstone is 1885. The area is very well maintained.
