Le Château de Namur, est un hôtel & restaurant d´application de l´Ecole Hôtelière Provinciale de Namur, on vous accueille toute l´année dans un cadre calme & verdoyant, en retrait des contraintes urbaines.
Se substituant au « Grand Hôtel » inauguré en 1899 et détruit durant la Première guerre, hôtel de voyageurs dit « Château de Namur », signé Jules Lalière et millésimé de 1930. Partiellement construit sur l'ancienne lunette de gauche – vestige des fortifications d'époque hollandaise – imposant édifice en brique, grès et pierre blanche pour le principal, au décor monumental de style néo-baroque, et dominé par une tour d'inspiration médiévale qui émerge dans le paysage namurois.
Château de Namur, is een hotel & restaurant van toepassing van l´Ecole Hôtelière Provinciale de Namur, heten wij u het hele jaar door welkom in een rustige en groene omgeving, weg van stedelijke beperkingen.
Ter vervanging van het "Grand Hôtel" dat in 1899 werd ingehuldigd en tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog werd verwoest, werd dit hotel, bekend als het Château de Namur, ontworpen door Jules Lalière en dateert uit 1930. Gedeeltelijk gebouwd op het oude linker zijraam - een overblijfsel van de Nederlandse vestingwerken uit die tijd - imposant gebouw van baksteen, zandsteen en witte steen voor het hoofdgebouw, in een monumentale neo-barokke stijl, en gedomineerd door een middeleeuwse inspirerende toren in het Namense landschap.

Replacing the "Grand Hôtel" inaugurated in 1899 and destroyed during the First World War, this hotel, known as the "Château de Namur", was designed by Jules Lalière and dated 1930. Partially built on the old left side window - a remnant of the Dutch period fortifications - imposing building made of brick, sandstone and white stone for the main one, in a monumental neo-baroque style, and dominated by a tower of medieval inspiration that emerges in the Namur landscape.
