Park Street Church from Boston Common - Boston, MA - Drawing Waymarks on Waymarking.com

In Boston, within Boston Common, is a view of Park Street Church, which I had captured in a drawing.

The church is located at the intersection of Tremont Street and Park Street, at the northern corner. Boston Common is on the western corner of that intersection.

I walked down a path from the entrance of the common by the State House, and stopped about halfway down and decided to draw the church from this location. The location provides a side view of the church as well as a view of its multi-level white spire. To the left of the church is another building that the church uses - more modern.

The drawing was roughed out in pencil, first, then inked in. Another twist is that I did everything with my left (non-dominant) hand. This was a challenge with a drawing group that I'm part of. So, I spent most of my time drawing the essential parts, then finishing it while on the train.

The temperature at the time? about 10 degrees above zero, with a breeze, so I had to cover my hand from time to time. The time was early evening, in early January, when it was dark.

Overall, the drawing is pretty good - perhaps a bit shortened in the length of the building.
