For several years now, Bpost has been creating sheets dedicated to Belgian city centres in the context of the Promotion of Philately. In 2018 the series will focus on the main monuments erected on the Namur squares

Since 1998, the Théâtre de Namur has been in the heart of the capital of the Walloon Region as a space for creation and dissemination in the performing arts. Its headquarters and main hall are located at the Théâtre royal de Namur, a 19th century Italian-style theatre.
Each season, it presents some sixty theatre, dance, circus, concert and children's shows. It produces or co-produces five to six shows per season.
It is officially recognized by the French Community of Belgium as both a cultural and a dramatic centre.
Its headquarters and main hall are located at the Théâtre royal de Namur, an Italian-style theatre built in 1863, listed as a Walloon Heritage Site and owned by the City of Namur.
Since 2013, it has been home to Benoît Poelvoorde's intimate festival, a literary festival that takes place at the end of August.
Patrick Colpé has been its director since 1998.
