This cannon, likely from the 19th century, is found in Lions Harbour Park and looks out over the Port of Goderich on Lake Huron.

The Royal markings indicate that it is British origin. This could be a six pound cannon and was likely brought to Ontario in the early 19th century. At the time, there were concerns of U.S. invasions and Goderich was a critically important port at the time.
