FR La fontaine de la rue de l'Auro est constituée d'un pilier, large, d'où coule un seul jet dans un bac ovale.
Le haut du pilier est décoré. Sur le coté, l'eau peut se déverser sur un second bac qui se déverse dans un troisième bac, sans doute pour laisser boire les animaux.
Un panneau indique que l'eau n'est pas potable, mais en France beaucoup de fontaine sont potable et les maires mettent cette information sur toutes les fontaines, même si elle sont saines pour se dégager de responsabilité si l'eau est souillée.
Plus haut, un second panneau, bien plus ancien indique "défense de salir l'eau".
EN The fountain on Rue de l'Auro consists of a wide pillar from which a single stream flows into an oval basin.
The top of the pillar is decorated. On the side, the water can be poured into a second tank which is poured into a third tank, probably to let the animals drink.
A sign indicates that the water is not drinkable, but in France many fountains are drinkable and mayors put this information on all fountains, even if they are healthy to avoid responsibility if the water is contaminated.
A second, much older sign above indicates "no soiling of water".
