Long Description:Site Location: South of Lubec on ME-189 at end of Quoddy Head
Road.
Directions to this site: Whiting, ME - Take ME-189 south, right on
Boot Cove Rd., follow signs to Quoddy Head State Park. Several
trails offer views of the light.
Nearest City/Town: Lubec, ME
Purpose: Marks the southwest entrance to Quoddy Channel between the
mainland and Campabello Island.

Notes: Site is on the easternmost point in the U.S.A. It is west of
East Quoddy, which is in Canada.
Second most photographed lighthouse in Maine.
