The cross is situated on a small green near a cross roads in the centre of the village.

The cross is in the form of a Celtic Cross, with a circle around the point at which the cross is formed. In the middle of the circle are the Roman Numerals MM, for 2000.

A plaque at the base of the cross tells its story.
