First Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist church located at 411 Randlett Street at the corner of 5th Street, one block south of Highway 9. This is an active church with many ministries and activities.
The sanctuary is a one-story brick building with a gabled roof The front entrance facing north on Randlett has double glass doors recessed in an entrance of lighter colored brick. The windows throughout are fixed pane units. At the back of the sanctuary is a two-story classroom building, and to the east of the sanctuary is a large activity building.
About five feet high on the front of the church is a granite cornerstone which shows that the church was established in 1906, and this building was constructed in 1959.
