First Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist church located at 411 Randlett Street at the corner of 5th Street, one block south of Highway 9. This is an active church with many ministries and activities.

The sanctuary is a one-story brick building with a gabled roof The front entrance facing north on Randlett has double glass doors recessed in an entrance of lighter colored brick. The windows throughout are fixed pane units. At the back of the sanctuary is a two-story classroom building, and to the east of the sanctuary is a large activity building.

The church has Discipleship Groups at 5:00 on Sunday before the evening service. For the children and youth, there are Wednesday afternoon and evening activities, church camp in the summer, Vacation Bible School, and other musical and performance activities.
