An upright and symmetrical granite and glass form stands nearby the entrance to Wheeler School's Chazan Gallery at 210 Hope Street in Providence, Rhode Island. The sculpture incorporates cast glass in Howard Ben Tré's signature style mounted in the midsection and to the top of a tapered and rounded oblong gray stone. Its overall height is about 72 inches and measures about 30 inches across a perpendicular span horizontally bisecting the upper third.

A descriptive metal plaque is mounted to the building's brick facade nearby the piece. The main component has a dull brass finish and a brushed aluminum silhouette resembling the sculpture bisected vertically is attached along the left edge. The applied text is black and reads:

A circular logo beneath the inscription is made up of the institution's emblematic flame within a "W" and circumscribed by "THE WHEELER SCHOOL • THE SPIRIT GIVETH LIFE".
