Harvest Caye opened in November 2016 and was voted Best New Cruise Port in 2017 by Porthole Magazine. The 75-acre islands features a huge swimming pool, a salt-water lagoon for water sports, 7-acre beach, snorkeling on the world's second largest barrier reef, two zip lines from the lighthouse structure called the flight house, wildlife exhibits, and shopping opportunities.

The ship docks in deeper water at end of a long canvas covered pier. It's about a 5 to 10 minute walk to the island depending upon your walking speed. Golf carts take those with special needs to and from the island.
