The forest-green painted wooden bench is about 5 foot wide, and is a 'bus-stop' style of bench, with cast concrete supports for the wooden slats, that are all the same width. There are two for the backrest, and three (with a very slight concave curve) for the seat, and they are all fixed with coach bolts from the front. The top backrest slat has the cast bronze plaque inset into it. The plaque has a textured black background, and is held in place with four brass Philips-head, counter-sunk screws. It reads:
