Highlighted in gold on a black diamond shaped background, this clock is dated 1980, probably the year the shop and tea rooms in the stable block opened after refurbishment by the National Trust when they took over the estate in 1978.

The circular clock face comprises an outer double ring with one- and five-minute markers surrounding large Roman numeral hours. The corenes of the diamond shaped back panel show the year 10980, the National Trust logo and two extracts from the family crest.
