Mountain View Cemetery is operated by the City, and is located on County Road 2370. From Mountain View, travel west of town on Highway 9 to the first county road and go north about 1.5 miles. Originally the cemetery was located north of the Washita River, but in 1903, due to flooding, the cemetery was moved to its present location.

The cemetery currently has 2920 burials. There are paved drives around the perimeter of the cemetery, plus bisecting it in both directions. There is a large circular drive at the center, with a small pavilion and war memorial. A chain link fence runs along the west side at the road, with three entrances.

The cemetery is well maintained and contains just a few mature trees.
