Lichen is doing its work on this monument, but on the plinth, the Woodmen of the World emblem is still visible, and the "Erected by" ribbon above it is legible. Even up close, though, most of the medallion is obscured, with the tree trunk the easiest to spot, and bits of the text peek out around the perimeter. Above is this inscription:
