Bendorf Sayn is the home of the Concordiahütte, an ironworks founded in the 19th century. The first building of the ironworks exists until now and has been converted into a museum. One of the products made in this factor, in the spirit of the time, cannons. Some of them has been placed near the park of the district on a place.
