In the south of Gran Canaria, between Maspalomas and Puerto de Mogan, lies the small village Patalavaca with its sandy beach. The beach of Patalavaca consists of a small bay with light sand. The beach is not very large, but due to its sheltered location and the calm water it is ideal for families with children.
The beach of Patalavaca has a length of 290 meters and is about 25 meters wide. For the physical well-being there are some cafés and restaurants at the beach promenade available. In the high season the beach is very well frequented and it can get a bit narrow from time to time.
