An octagonal fountain is situated in the center of the north border of Lake Sumter Landing Town Square plaza. Water from four spouts falls into four buckets which overflow to fill an upper tier which has four openings which allows water to fall into a pool at ground level. The pools' exterior walls are covered with coral and topped with wide concrete slabs, which, at the lower level, provide seating. The spouts, buckets, and a two-foot tall finial are made from metal that has a dark green patina -- perhaps copper.
