Quick Description: At the edge of a drive way, the station appears to have been struck by forces unknown. The concrete marker is very slightly angled. It is still readable.

TO REACH STATION FROM THE NC 24 - NC 27 BRIDGE OVER US 52 AT THE SOUTH SIDE OF ALBEMARLE, PROCEED SOUTHERLY ALONG US 52 FOR 1.3 MILES TO THE SOUTHERNMOST CONCRETE DIRVEWAY LEADING TO A 1 1/2 STORY BRICK HOUSE, AND STATON ON NORTH SIDE OF DRIVEWAY, AND 0.45 MILE NORTH OF INTERSECTION WITH SR 1906. 19.9 FT. SW OF C/L OF US 52, 8.0 FT. NW OF C/L OF DRIVEWAY, 3.5 FT. SE OF SE CORNER OF A BRICK WALL, 47.6 FT. SW OF CENTER OF THE TOP OF A TELEPHONE JUNCTION BOX, 25.8 FT. NNW OF PP WITH ALUMINUM REF. TAG, AND 19.2 FT. NW OF EASTERNMOST 15 IN. PINE ON SOUTH SIDE OF DRIVEWAY. DISK IS SET IN TOP OF CONCRETE CYLINDER, THE TOP OF WHICH IS FLUSH WITH THE GROUND.

WHITE PINE IS LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 1.8 MILES SSE OF ALBEMARLE. TO REACH STATION FROM THE NC 24 - NC 27 BRIDGE OVER U.S. 52 AT THE SOUTH SIDE OF ALBEMARLE, PROCEED SOUTHERLY ALONG U.S. 52 FOR 1.3 MILES TO THE SOUTHERNMOST CONCRETE DRIVEWAY LEADING TO A 1-1/2 STORY BRICK HOUSE, AND STATION ON NORTH SIDE OF DRIVEWAY. AND 0.45 MILE NORTH OF INTERSECTION WITH SR 1906. STATION MARK IS A STANDARD N. C.
