Located in the center of the intersection of Main and Broadway in downtown Carnegie, a two-tiered concrete circle and square supports a flagpole which flies the United States and Oklahoma flags. (This was possibly the site of a town water well in the early days of the town). At the base are four granite commemoration plaques which were placed in 2003.
The four sides commemorate:
* April 19, 1903 / Carnegie Centennial / April 19, 2003
* Oval reading 1903 / Carnegie Centennial / 2003 / April 19, 2003 Centennial / The busiest town on the Rock Island. Within the oval are engravings of a wagon, locomotive, peanut, cotton and horse
* Oval showing Carnegie Tri-County Free Fair / 100th anniversary / 2003 showing a cow, pig, ferris wheel, cotton boll, peanut and wheat
* An engraving of the old high school (now The Memorial Building) - built 1937-1938 WPA / High School 1937 - Fall of 1961
