This masonry pump house has a stucco covering. It is located on Highland Street, just off South Broadway, south of downtown Carnegie. This is a one-story building with a flat roof. There is a single wood door on each side of the building, with the date "1920" worked into the concrete above the south door.

The windows are three-pane casement units. The building has three bays on the front and rear and two on each side, with a window or door in each. While visiting in the Carnegie Town Hall, we were shown a metal plate which once was attached to this building showing Carnegie City Water Works / 1920 and the name of the Board members that year. It shows that the architect was V.V. Long & Co. and it was constructed by Ajax Construction Co.
