Hato International Airport (also known as Curacao International Airport) is the one and only commercial airport on the island of Curacao, located to the North of the capital Willemstad.
Originally called "Dr. Albert Plesman", Hato Airport has services to the Caribbean, South America, North America and Europe.
Per Wikipedia:
"[It] is a fairly large facility, with the second longest commercial runway in the Caribbean region (after Rafael Hernández Airport). The airport was the hub of Air ALM and its successor Dutch Caribbean Airlines, the flag carriers of the former Netherlands Antilles until the latter ceased operations in 2004. The airport is now the home base of Insel Air and Dutch Antilles Express.
A new terminal was officially opened in 2006 and it accommodates a maximum of 1.6 million passengers per year."
