The Dragon two-lane stretch of U.S. 129 to the north. Its 318 curves in 11 miles earned it the name Tail of the Dragon.

Myself , and 3 friends, took a trip to TN, stayed in Marysville, and rode the Tail of the Dragon. We also rode the Cherohala Skyway and the Devil's Triangle north of Knoxville.
But, this story is for the Tail of the Dragon.
I beat the other through, but close, Richard was right on my tail. It was more work than fun.
I ride a Victory Vega, 1641cc, has the power and the speed, but on this road I never got above 40.
Glad I did, can now say I did, but more work that fun.
