In Walpole, along Pemberton Street, is Walpole Rural Cemetery.

The cemetery is located off Mass. State Route 1A, Main Street. From there, take North Street, near a bridge over the Neponset River, then, at the next intersection, take a left onto Pemberton Street and the cemetery on the right.

The cemetery is a medium sized lot that lays on the slope of a hill. The graves very generally go from oldest graves at the bottom of the slope to the newest ones at the the top.

The roads are arranged in a grid. There are mostly granite and marble monuments. There are about 1600 graves. The dates of death range from just after the American Revolutionary War to the present day.
