A copy of the famous Apollino statue is part of the gardens of Charlottenhof Palace in Potsdam, Germany.

Apollino is a Roman copy of a Hellenistic sculpture of the adolescent god Apollo. In Greek mythology, Apollo is the god of music, poetry, truth and prophecy, healing, the sun and light, and plague. He was a son of Zeus and Leto, daughter of the Titans.

1862_Apollo is a near Earth asteroid, discovered on April 24, 1932 by German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth.

The asteroid class of Apollo Asteroids, asteroids, that cross the Earth's orbit, is named after this asteroid.

In ancient Greece, Apollo was the name of the planet Mercury, when observed just before dawn as a morning star.

There is also an Apollo Crater on the far side of the moon, named after NASA's Apollo Program.
