At East Linney and North Colbert Streets in Dayton are two cemeteries. Acie Cemetery was the "colored" cemetery and Linney was for "white people."

This weathered Woodman monument stands alone along a fence line. A bronze Woodman plaque is attached where the carved seal normally appears.
