This one-story white stone classroom building is located on the northeast corner of the intersection of State Highways 58 (S. Carnegie St.) and 9. The building appears to be in very good condition, but we could not determine whether it is being used today.
The center portion of the school has a gabled roof with large stone chimneys at either end. Five, six-over six double hung windows are at the front and rear of this portion. On the north and south ends of the building are hipped-roof extensions, each having two windows on the front and four on the sides. There is a single metal door in each extension, with an additional entrance at the rear of the south extension. All the windows have concrete sills. The white stone is coursed and the school building gives a trim, attractive appearance. The year of construction could not be determined, however, WPA buildings nearby were constructed in 1937 and 1938.
