The castle was an important strategic point for Hussite troops under the religious wars in the 15th century.
The castle solid as the stone (rock-stone), on which it was built in the Middle Ages, was an important strategic point for Hussite troops under the religious wars in the 15th century. At the end the peace talks of disunited parties under the Czech non-catholic.
Kámen is an originally Gothic castle in southern Bohemia near the town of Pacov, first mentioned in the fourteenth century. In the nineteenth century the castle was reconstructed in the English Romantic Gothic style. There is a motorcycle museum there now.
