The town of Fort Cobb does not have a website. We were able to determine from a State Auditor's report that the town has a Mayor and two Trustees, as well as a Clerk/Treasurer.
Fort Cobb has approximately 630 residents. It was established as a frontier post in 1859 by the U.S. Army. The fort was abandoned in 1869 in favor of Ft. Sill, 30 miles to the south. The town hall is a large metal building at the corner of Main Street and 1st Street. The fire department and police departments are also housed here. A single glass door is located on the north and on the west of the building, with four overhead doors on the east for the fire department.
A sign over the north door reads: FORT COBB City Hall
