Marmorpalais (German for Marble Palace) was built in 1791 as a summer residence for Prussian king Frederick William II. The central part was designed by architects Carl von Gontard and Carl Gotthard Langhans. In 1797, the side wings were added by architect Michael Philipp Boumann.

There are three fountains in front of the castle, one in the central court yard and two in front of the two wings.

We couldn't find a record regarding the fountains, but as all three are identical, we assume they were part of Boumann's design of the wings.
