This wooden bench has unpainted, narrow wooden slats. The wood is a grey colour, from being weathered. There are five similar-width wooden slats on each the backrest, and seat; with a slightly wider one at the top and front of the seat. There are four metal (probably anodised aluminium) straps that are also fixed to the wooden slats. The bench is supported by two cast aluminium frames, that set about 30 cm in from the ends of the bench. The slats are fixed from behind.
The engraved bronze plaques are fixed to the top slat of the backrest, with four slotted, countersunk brass screws each. The plaques reads:
In loving memory of
THOMAS LO
You will always be in our hearts.
Daddy, Mummy, Wilson & Alan.
